I think what this song is trying to say is that the guy has no reason to live and has way too many problems in his life, so he sees anyway.
When he says "Hold me now", I think he's asking for someone to give him a reason as to why he shouldn't just jump now. That all he has to do is jump, and its all over, no more missery, no more problems. That comparing his missery, life, problems, whatever, to the six feet (his grave if he does jump), it'd just be easier to jump.
