I agree I come here looking for a meaning and there's all this crap. I like this song.. Gosh. I love Hilary.

Might I add,Xx blahh xX is right. It was Avril who called her a mummy's girl or something as well.

I don't get why she's a poser or whatever lol... She doesn't copy anyone, lives her life and picks work for her that she wants. Sheesh.

I agree that this song is living your life in a good way but I'm not completely sure of the meaning...

I believe it's about being the best person you can be in life. Living aligned with morals, and not being so vain etc.
