Well, absurd means: utterly or obviously senseless, illogical, or untrue; contrary to all reason or common sense; laughably foolish or false: an absurd explanation. Obscure means:not bright or lustrous; dull or darkish, as color or appearance (although it has many definitions)... "Obscure" does make more sense, doesn't it?

You can listen to "Broken Promise", how Brian pronnounces absurd, and then how he pronnounces obscure/absurd in "Unisex"...

okay, i have listened to broken promise and unisex and i think both are 'absurd'. he just sings it differently, that's why it appears to be different.
maybe we get a third opinion. :)

Oh, yeah, there's no 'c'... But it can't be absurd. It just doesn't make sense to me. Anyway, I give up.
