I vote this song best one off of Reach for the Sun.
It's beyond amazing, but probably because it's the one that makes the most sense to me.
I started listening to the dangerous summer about a year and a half ago and i immediately fell in love.
The lyrics are so freaking powerful, it's crazy. These guys are my favorite band, especially AJ. He's a sick lyricist.
So anyways, cutting to the chase:
I think this song is about AJ trying to pursue his career as a musician. He wants his mom to accept the fact that he wants to be in a band and play music full-time.
I heard that she kicked him out at one point and i think that the song talks how about how he's trying to stay strong, but that he's not all that hopeful (when he says "I want to pray that I am doing everything right.")
Favorite line of the song: "Well I'm an optimist, but only in a perfect world."
SO FUCKING GOOD
