This is a truely amazing song, this song may be about a break up, but when I heard it I felt something strong from it that related to me. I felt like it was about a guy who really loves a girl, and she's perfect in every way for him, but shes already taken by someone close to the man so he refuses to pursue her. Its not that he cant find someone to be with, its that he cant be with who he wants most, which is the cause of his agony. So he drinks to forget it as best he can for a little while, but sooner or later he sobers up and has to face the truth of the matter once again. Thats what the song reminds me of anyways.
Tim Curry is absolutely wonderful and this is my favorite song that he has performed to date!
