Okay, we all know the song is catchy, thanks for stating the obvious and not talking about the MEANING of the song. Do you remember what website this is? It's Songmeanings.net not Myspace.
I liked how Furtado Fan37 mentioned Carpe Diem, good job. I think that is very true. Hold on to the good things you have in life, but don't fall into boring routine. (Tired of January, Tired of June. I come from the frozen Tundra so the idea of being tired of both January AND June must refer to some ingrained routine that has become dreadfully boring. People in warmer climates might not get that, but KT is from Scotland so she might.) blue.painted.tears also made a great point. I think, in the end, this song is her advice for how to live a good, happy life. Don't care what others think of you (verse one), Be wise like the old and healthy like the young, and have a pure heart with good intentions (verse 2), hold on to the blessings you have been given (chorus) and don't let your life turn into a routine (what is that called, the bridge? lol.)
and H Cool, you are not cool. I have Fergie, KT Tunstall, Rihanna, Joss Stone and Gwen Stafani (old school no doubt) on my MP3 player, there is nothing wrong with that. I happen to LOVE Fergie AND KT Tunstall. That does not make me dumb or tasteless or anything like that, so don't imply that it does. And to say you don't respect most female artists is just plain sexist. Don't be like that. shame.
