Hence the "light in darkness coming through". Tim hates organized religion, but he talks about God like they're best friends...The Queers made fun of him for it in their song "Rancid Motherfucker", also released in 1998. Other songs on the album that support this theme include "The Wolf", "Bloodclot", and "Turntable". Never mind that the intro track would be just full of crap if all they were going to sing about was shitty love songs and the same old stuff we hate pop music for being. If this song's about a girl, then it doesn't make any sense!
