Truly a beautiful song, I almost wish I hadn't heard it early. Cedric's vocal range is exhibited so well in this song. I love how the pitch goes up every two syllables when he sings: "The only way to see him
in the tunnel where he slept". The harmony throughout the song is just amazing... perfect.
I think it's too early to try to put meaning to it because AFAIK we don't know the inspiration behind this album yet. Honestly I wouldn't know where to start either.
One thing I've heard people say is that this is the "Televators" of Octahedron. I did noticed that at the end of this track you hear that 'up and down hum' (sounds like an airplane engine hum almost) that you can also hear at the end of "Televators" and in "Take The Veil Cerpin Taxt". The organ part reminds me of something from "Cygnus...Vismund Cygnus". There is almost a ghost of those two albums in the end there.
Great song, I'm really looking forward to the rest of the album.
