This is also one of my favorite songs of theirs. I concur with levels. The only meaning I can seem to grasp out of it is the heartbreaking pain of catching a cheating lover and the introspect involved thereafter after holding in the utter disappointment and anger.

The bit with the honey is very interesting to me, the line "Like children walled in and papers drawn up for life" seems to refer to it. I think it denotes a bit of naivety such as, that which is sweet will solidify. The song comes back to this after the disappointment "On the children walled in and mauling their brethren and like" I think they are now jaded by the experience and view people as treacherous and perhaps locked into themselves.
