great song :) I think the message is all in all clear..maybe just one thing:
She wants to get over her (ex-boy-)friend or just wants to "prove" that she CAN realize her ideas
"you say
no fame no money i'm nobody
the way i'm running has sure got me down on my knees
but next stop Vegas please
"i'm gonna fix my mind with a final destination
and have a deep sleep upon a sweet dream i'll never realize no"
She tries to get a final destination in order to "fix her mind", but well she says, that she will have a deep sleep upon a sweet dream that will never come true(maybe the dream of being together with her boyfriend again?)
I guess she just tries to have a new start
Well I really like her saying: Next stop: vegas please! =)
Oh well it can also be that she is singing about beeing together with her BF, who obviously searching for fame(money)
"no fame no money i'm nobody
the way i'm running has sure got me down on my knees" ( He is talking about himself not her like in the first version)
and she tries to realize that by moving or going to vegas, because it always appears a line with "somebody told me(..)"
And she really doesn't want to loose him for such a cause, so she says that he can always try to get there.
"it's never your fault you can't start your own winning streak
but id' hate to lose you to the fortune you seek"
Now I think the first version is a total disaster but well maybe somebody had the same idea...
