Some people are like the rat. They spend their entire lives living in the hidden corners of the world, forced to struggle and crawl about. The rat is often looked down upon as vermin by those in higher places, who have no idea how ignorant and naive they really are. Only the rat sees the world for what it really is: a forsaken hell-hole of shit. I'm thinking this would make the rat feel either isolated or angry towards those who live with eyes closed, who think of life as a game. And so the rat wants others to touch their filth, to be shocked, to see the world through rats eyes. To be like them.
