This is a really good song, for many reasons, but most importantly (for this site, anyway) is the lyrical content. There are so many different interpretations that can be applied to this song, even without any consideration to WT's original intent. As stated above, this is the direct idea of a leader using their political power and tyranny to herd the sheeple. There's also the very Christian context of Satan the deceiver and seducer, or even as temptation itself. I could expostulate on the facets of this for ages, I'm sure, but really, the core of it is that this song will apply to you on some level, no matter what your beliefs and perspective have to offer you.
