on second thought this song is chilling and very personal, one of the most personal songs i have ever heard. unlike other artists eminem fans really do know a lot about his personal life. i like the ongoing story of marshall/slim/eminem and how he sells his soul to the devil for fortune and fame and learns he regrets it. i appreciate all the references to past songs and albums spanning his entire career. i like the underlying themes in eminem songs like good vs. evil, pushing yourself to be the best and going through hell to do it, and being yourself and using it to your advantage against what other people may think. eminem is a great entertainer no matter what he does whether it is killing him or not.
