but in that webclip of dave recording the vocals of this song, there was a "no on prop 8" sign behind him. and prop 8 was the ballot measure that if passed (which it did), gay people couldn't get married in CA. when i read the lyrics and really listened to them, i kinda thought the two things coincided a bit. but whatever, it's still a really cool song. i hope they play it at the hollywood bowl in august!
