Why comment on this song when the lyrics are three lines? Because I can. Because it's Enigma. Because they're awesome.
To be honest, I see this as more than the fact that one plus two produces anew but the third of it's kind would make it an alien, not literally an alien but someone who is an alien to themselves and maybe to others. Or in the house of their parents, the first and the second are almost the same, the third feels like a stranger. The third of it's kind, but being the third makes it ... outcast.
Then again knowing enigma, it could just mean two people made a baby and their offspring was born.
