Normally I despise Christian music because it's so bland, insipid, and utterly toothless, but I love Sixpence for some reason. This is a multivalent song--if you wanted to focus on the Christian aspect, you could, but it could also be about romance. I choose to follow the latter interpretation, partly because I first heard the song on pop radio and I have a hard time believing that it would play a Christian song.
