I think i get it.
The first part is about Christian and Glorias romance in modern day america. They both know the countrys in trouble, but they arent gonna do anything about it.
Christian joins the army In east jesus knowhere and after experiencing the combat, goes a little crazy (represented by peacemaker)
Christian then returns home to find everythings gone to hell back home (murder city) and he decides to change things, and fight for the people (american euology)
Let me know what you think people.
Although the band has said that Christian and Gloria aren't really part of a story so much as people who act as symbols (Gloria represents people who try to carry the torch, and Christian represents the type of people who like to burn things down with the torch), this does kind of make sense. I don't necessarily believe it, but hey, whatever floats your boat.

i like this, and i think the peacemaker, meaning, gun... means Christian is going to use a gun to fight for the people
