When you keep sticking it out for all the wrong reasons you do become callous as a means of suvival just to get through the day. I don't want to be that person- numb and shackled. So many people stay in love-less relationships for fear of "proving them all right", not wanting to be looked at as a failure, and/or fear of being alone.
