I worked for a while with a venue that frequently welcomed The Handshake Murders. Always a crazy, jam-packed show. They're a sound man's worst nightmare. ;)
Incidentally, a buddy of mine actually talked to Jayson while he was lifting weights (which he takes on the road with him everywhere he goes) and found out what this song means.
Apparently, a girl he cared about (girlfriend or sister, i forget) had a guy (cousin? ex boyfriend? bah, don't remember) who was being a real dick to her (hence the line "now suffer the blows of my aggression worth all of her tears"). Jayson heard about this and the chick was really upset about whatever this guy was saying or doing. He went to the guys house and basically said...well..."I'll rip your throat out." Then rather than actually do it, he went home and wrote this song.
I think the meaning of it made me like it a LOT more. He's the freakin man.
