he draws his influence for "juturna" from eternal sunshine of the spotless mind. Thats one of my favorite movies so I can see why.

Kirsten Dunts character sent the files back to the patients containing their procedure information, providing them the tapes which explained why they wanted the memory of that person or whatever erased. the next morning Joel takes the train to Montauk not realizing why, Clemintine showed up too, bringing them back to where they first met. They werent aware of "what brought them back" to that place.
