I like the verse, "I know that I am just a grain of sand, Meeting water at the land, We could build our castles here, and sweep them all away." It seems to be about the physical nature of energy and matter contrasted between the things we humans find on earth like playing on the beach and building sandcastles. We are, in the smaller picture just humans with one life to live, but in the grander picture we are made up of the same things physically as sand and water are. So we are on the beach building the castle, philosophically we are just one grain of sand in a large dessert, and physically we are the sand we build the sandcastle out of, and the water that washes it away.
