The only version of this song i have listened to so far was off of the soundtrack for 'skins' season 1. This version is without the last verse...is this just me?? or should i be after a different version of the song??
But as for the song itself...beautiful...in a word. In more than one word; its a song that looks quiet basically and very accurately at social status inequity in a relationship and , to be more specific, how it has brought love to an end.
I love that it leaves the nature of the relationship up to personal interpretation.
With a hauntingly emotional voice and smooth melody this will certainly be in my iTunes 'most played' list for some time.
