I love The Ghost's lyrics, lots of social commentary and such.

Right now I especially feel a connection with this song like the first bit:

"This time I won't be hanging around I'll sever the ties that have me gagged and bound (your idle hands have tied you down) Whats to lose, enemies or friends? "

To me this is talking about severing ties to old friends who over time have turned out not to be such great friends anymore. Maybe because they havn't grown up and matured or that they arn't going anywhere in their lives and are becoming a negative influence, ect...

Then: "Your flaws are fooling you They find themselves in others I'm a black sheep with a hidden smile Some things never change Youre a type-cast, with your head low Secretly jealous and horribly plain "

This is realizing you're different and doing what you want to do and succeed even though people may say otherwise. People tend to find their own flaws in other people and will criticize them for it. They're just following the crowd and not accomplishing anything and deep down they realize it and are jealous of those individuals who do their own thing.

Then: "Exiled, from the best of the worst Your cure is my curse"

He's saying that becoming one of the crowd is the worst thing that could happen even though most people won't think for themselves and follow the crowd to feel better about themselves.

Plus the end bit with "Your forest needs a fire", ect.. There's just so much emotion there and it's a great ending to the song.

I just fucking love it.
