Well I've definitely always thought this song was about suicide. Not
just that, however - but when Siobhan Fahey takes on the "Death" pers
onification, as we all mostly agree on, she speaks about the Afterlife.
I find her lyrics the most interesting of the song - she describes the
afterlife (back in your own world) as a place less forgiving than life
itself, reinforcing the general song's statement: Is this really a good
idea?
Such an emotive song. Marcella Detroit is such an awesome singer, I can't
believe she was the "back up singer" of this group! Oh, and just as a
trivia note.. the filmclip setting for this song, was based on a terrible
1950s sci-fi film about a planet of cat women. lol. P:
