Everytime You Go Away Lyrics

For me this song has a flavour of a trio situation. A married woman taking a lover and even though they have endured the difficulties of remaining in their "forbidden love" she always goes back to her husband (the leading man) its a repetative distructive cycle. The lover feels like a piece of his heart is taken away every time she goes back and he truly believes he loves her and that what they have is special and real (we got it going on)

Hey, If we can solve any problem Then why do we lose so many tears Oh, and so you go again When the leading man appears Always the same thing Can't you see, we've got everything goin' on and on and on Every time you go away you take a piece of me with you

Go on and go free, yeah Maybe you're too close to see I can feel yor body move It doesn't mean that much to me

He is wanting to let her go but maybe she is too close/closed into her own selfishness to see his pain He can feel her body move (ref to sex and it being only about sex for her) It doesn't mean that much to him because he wants more than a sexual relationship

Thats what I see in this song anyways
