I think at the basic level its about someone very holy, very good, being corrupted by evil and ruining himself to the point of no return.
The music video shows an angel finding the Bible Black and it drags him down and even though he attempts to make it back into heaven, he can't leave the book behind and he becomes a demon.
This is such a heavy song that reaks of the kind of evil only Black Sabbath can create.
I don't care that they're with Dio, they'll always be Black Sabbath.
