I think there are two metaphors in the first sort of paragraph the first one is with the 'new found friends..come down his throat' as gay as that sounds i think its about this guy making new friends and hes sort of the barney gumble of the group the absolute shit faced alchoholic who everyone laughs at when hes drunk of his face, and lick & kiss there neck i think is about the neck of the beer bottle.
secondly the '1000 messages but not a soul in bed' hes getting a thousand messages from his new friends who want him to come out with him but hes having no luck with the ladies, because no one takes him seriously
"just shout and shout" someones always shouting him drinks and by two hes getting loose
"naked limbs" that either means that the only thing showing are his limbs and hes not getting any sex
or its a metaphor for dancing and 'sweaty chest' you get sweaty when you dance or from throwing up.
