i don't think this song is about sex at all. i do feel that is it about this man being so deeply in love with this girl, but she doesn't love him. also, i feel as if it could be interpretted as someone who had a friend/girlfriend who "lost" herself in away, but the she is beginning to feel like her old self again. either way....i love this song so very much! :)
