This song is obviously referring to when Jesus was put in the desert for 40 days without food or water to show his faith in God....."he was walking there for 20 days he was going to walk on for 20 more"...."how about a drink or a bite to eat, no my faith is all i need"...... it is in no way a song about dave matthews being sacreligious, actually it's quite the opposite.
