Not only is it a sweet and sincere song about a former relationship/lover and its pentimenti with elements that cause remembrance, but further more how one feels when one is in a new relationship after the fact- "So now I'll never know,/As YOU will only sleep beside me". The song may not be meant towards the old lover, as many would assume, but towards the new lover, so that they themselves are aware of a very human instinct, that everyone remembers the past. Any other thoughts toward "Remind Me" would be much appreciated to a very much under-appreciated song.
