I just wanted to add that maybe cellar door can also be linked to a grave (somewhere dark, cold, generally lonely or sad) or even a mausoleum (which can be linked to the Romeo and Juliet reference). I think this song can be interpreted a thousand different ways, but I don't think any of them are really incorrect. It's what the song does for you. I love the ideas up here though :)
