first off, the narrator broke up with a girl. and eventually, he starts to realize what he had, so he tries to go back to her, hoping for another change. however, the girl has already "found" someone else ("But you didn't mean it 'cause now you're all over him". and the narrator starts to remember back on the memories, like when she told him, "Together until the very end" and "Baby, don't worry, you mean more than the world". and when he thinks about these memories, he starts to feel anger and resentment, hence the sarcasm in "I guess the world is worthless..." And years/months later, he's "older and stronger", but still misses her. And he thinks "how much longer 'til he finds a girl that's 'hotter'?" The narrator thinks her new man is just into her for her looks. So he's still waiting for her...
the end.
i love this song because it's my current life situation :[
[or vice versa, the girl might've broken up with the guy.]
