I can't really tell if these lyrics are about God or not. In some parts it seems like it could be, but in others it seems like it's about a girl(I think the main singer is married). If anyone knows something I don't it'd be sweet if I could learn some trivia.
This song IS pretty awesome. I've liked Jars for a long time but I've only recently been this interrested in them. This album sounds great.
I think it could be about either a human relationship or a God relationship. Or perhaps even just a friendship, however, the last line "I'll miss the shivers in my spine every time that we touch" doesn't really go with that last one. I think it's just about connecting with someone else completely, including all your crap, all your frustrations and flaws, and working through it ("I want your kite strings tangled in my trees all wrapped up"). This can be applied to a human relationship. It is also applicable to God, for I'm sure He wants us to be...

As for a friend, I think that you can have love for a brother or sister in Christ, or just any friend at all, and want to help them out. But you can only help them if they're willing to share their troubles. However, this last interpretation is stretching it, especially because of the last line (as mentioned above). Anyway, however you take it, the song is brilliant. Sorry this got kind of long, I'm awful at writing concisely! I know there weren't any solid facts about the band's opninion on the song itself, but hopefully this was helpful anyway. :)
