I honestly don't know what it's about but i'll give it a shot.
First Stanza-
The relationshiop just faded away,
"The colours fade
Love so red"
even though love is supposed to be deep & strong(red)
it's gone,it is no longer.
& the part about pot at the end simply means i have had all of this relationships but nothing successful,everything has eventually dwindled out (colors fade)
Then,second stanza
She doesn't get why she is missing the boy so much.there is no need,but she figures or is simply pondeing over her feelings because she has nothing better to do,which we all have done before.
Third stanza
i think simply means that she has been tainted by what people have to say about love,she doesn't believe it will ever come for her.
Chorus again.
Fourth,
she realizes she can't give up on love yet! a new life (that would make sense dont you think) has come into life & its going fine & dandy because she can't picture herself stopping loving this new & amazing guy
& then what do you know she isn't sad about love anymore her afternoons are no longer blue she longer has to ponder on why must love be so abstruse
