i think this song is about seeing greater things in life than what we as everyday people see. It really depends on our lifestyle, but i think that most of us never really appriciate what we have. It's about realizing what is truelly important in life, and what we should focus our attention on. I think the song is beautiful, and i don't consider it depressing at all. :)
