There is a lot of passion in their music and this particular song, like many, is about his lost love. This person made him complete in every way and he wants her back so much. Its great though becuase he absolutely needs her, but he still has his pride (he won't beg, plead, or get on his knees). The best line is "the only time you're off my mind is when i'm thinking."
