I love this song too. I think the meaning is pretty obvious, the boy really loves his girl, but it took him a while to realize it, but now that he has, he is extremely happy and we are glad cuz he made this song which makes us all happy. :D
The only thing that gets me is the line " the grass is greener on the other side". I think it might refer to from before how their other side is the new relationship they made, more than just friends? Idk, anyone help me out/ back me up here?
