To me, I think this song is about a guy who's in love with a girl that he's been sleeping with. The girl doesn't seem to return the love; because her only interest is to screw. The whole night moon and day thing to me, is that they sleep together at night and its magical to him, but when they wake up and there's the sun shining, she goes and the love is gone.
