Yeah, I think there are some mistakes. I always hear "you wanted me when you wanted me". An also "I thought you'd love me but you don't". I think it's basically about this love not being what he expected, or what the girl promised. They seem to sing about that a lot. They are a christian band, so you could possibly delve a little deeper with this being about sin. How it promises the world and then leaves you alone in the dark. At least that's another meaning I get when i listen to it. I just love their music as well, it's so unlike other bands which is rare these days.
