This song is so lovely, and I agree, simplicity.
I think it's about evolution, if that makes sense, when creatures began to crawl out of the sea. It's as if this person she sings about was, not "created for her", but since the beginning of everything they were just meant to be. It sounds cheesy, but then that's why Laura Marling phrased it differently :p
