Great song from a very underrated band. The meaning is pretty easy to understand and actually kind of funny. Guy hears a poet, hates everything about him, steals from him, screws his girlfriend, meets up with him by pure chance, and is a jerk. Obviously there's more to the song, but this is who "The Poet" is. I just wish they were more popular, Niccokick is a very good band with some good songs.
