dont be afraid to let go---drop the superego that controls your conscience, and leaves you with guilt---at least make an attempt to reach your goals and not be afraid of what may happen, society has conditioned people to be complacent and has created a stagnation amongst the masses, this is how you are controlled either by religion, or by the media--------------(Feel, no shame, too brave)this verse is your conditioning and how you are expected to be -vs- (Feel, afraid, to wait forever)instead you should live life, take chances, fear and procrastenation keeps you idle and regret later in life and a case of the what if's will be your damnation-hence-"perdition"!
