For me, this song isn't about living in excess. I think it's about being in a situation that isn't healthy. I almost want to say that she's being abused because of these lines: "She'd rather repair her face with the lights turned off" which to me implies she's denying the abuse, ignoring it and pretending it didn't happen at all, even though she's got the marks to prove it; "Don't try to hide, Don't justify a thing" is self explanatory; "This will be the last time She hides her eyes behind her hair" which, again, is pretty self-explanatory.
However, I don't think it's totally about being in an abusive situation. She may just be disgusted with herself, with her life, with the way she lives. She doesn't want to see herself for who she's become... she just gets through day by day, just putting up with it.
