The song seems to be about a lover whose family AND loved one are dying. (And it seems not to be a natural death)
Anyway, he says to the lover he would die for no one (not even for her) as he wished only for the trial of God, which God just delivered in the form of their deaths. He, however, admit he will mourn for them for the rest of his life.
And then in the end he admits the pain he feels for her death is so intense he would willingly sacrifice himself for her, and only for her.
I disagree with the above statement a bit.
