i have to note that this song is beautifully and exqusitely simple... the words i think are evident in equating notes to people just as we associate songs with individuals and memories... music is a part of our soul and peter broderick in this song captures that perfectly... talking more generally it could be seen that the song talks about the people and their memories to us as individuals and their effects on our beings long after they are gone... the first comment to a beautiful song with many more meanings i am sure
