This song actually sounds like a story of a girl who has a troubling secret and hates the guy she manages to sleep with, who too dislikes the girl. The girl manages to break down in front of the guy and showing him a softer side but in the morning he's guessing she'll return back to her normal self, an arragont and angry person. But he is actually starting to see behind her hatred and starts to love her and tries to figure out a way to help but is confused as to how, hence the "cut the red one, no the blue one."
