I love this song as an opener. "...someone who's lost, getting older by the minute..." is a feeling I'm sure people experience sometimes, especially kids in college and beyond, when you look on TV and all around you and see kids younger than you doing big things. Although the song has some pretty negative undertones, it has a pretty uplifting message.

Fireworks at Dawn - celebration as the day begins - a celebration of a new beginning. I never really considered exactly what that meant, and it means so much, at least to me. It's nice to have a mouthpiece for my feelings, these guys are so great.
