This is one of the first songs of flogging molly that really touched me. That is becuase I have a friend who has moved out of the city about three years ago. He and I were and still are very close. The thing is that we can only see eachother for short periods of times (weekends mostly but once or twice a year we can see eachoter for a whole week.) So I really miss him and for some reason I feel that this song describes the feeling since he and I have kind of went our seperate ways.
Hopefully we will end up in the same town again some day. This is ofc only my own experience of the song.
