I agree with what TeylorUndead about the intro: "the first meaning i got from this song was that he was simply mocking the 'emo' scene.
Saying how cutting just became a trend and how someone would make up an excuse,just so they could cut and have something wrong with their life,just to fit into that scene.

as being a teen and in high school I see exactly what he is talking about throughout the song. The song literally talks about people being fake, and how people just go with what everyone else does, like scene kids. "I made sure that I look how I wanted to look The people around me, the people surround me". Influenced by other people made him what he is now, not him.
