OK, so in the aforementioned context.. The first part refers to bands helping promote other bands to the public when they don't actually like them, just for the sake of building the "scene." Of course Keith won't stand for that.

"Keep your voices down, I'm sneaking out Hey! What's the big idea? Keep your fucking hands off the insight"

This is Keith getting away from those generic bands, and warning that if you can't be original and creative, music is not for you.

"That rat has got it's mothers eyes breeding ad nauseam, they are throwing themselves into the sea."

Casts the blame for the state of music scenes on the bands that came before the and helped them come up. Says bands just jump into music blindly, and then are buried in a sea of soundalikes.

"Stop. Thief."

Accusing bands of stealing sounds.

"Leave your drunken accident at the prom It'll grow to mend your broken heart. Don't sign the dotted line (Every house is a little bit of hollywood) The world is too incredible to bring such ugliness into it The artist is sneaking down the hall to impregnate the last of it's kin. Indescernible muse in a swarm of derivatives"

This part is important. To paraphrase, 'we don't want to hear your juvenile lyrics. Don't sign a record deal, just quit music. The world is too good for your crappy songs. You'll just perpetuate the problem. How can we tell what inspires your music when it's all so derivative?'

That's my take, based on what Microman said
